The next time you’re searching for a new restaurant to try out, consider one of the many on-site mobile home community restaurants and cafes.
Since most of these café/restaurants are within country club communities and golf is open to the public, so are the restaurants. These café/restaurant offer a variety of meals, from Sunday brunch to casual lunches to dinner specials. They can also be a huge convenience for residents. Many also offer special holiday meals, take-out and home delivery.
Below is a list of the mobile/manufactured home communities, here in the Palm Springs Desert area, that offer on-site cafes/restaurants:
Date Palm Country Club Café/Restaurant
Desert Crest Country Club Café/Restaurant
Hidden Springs Country Club Café/Restaurant
Ivey Ranch Country Club Café/Restaurant
Palm Desert Greens Country Club Café/Restaurant
Portola Country Club Café/Restaurant
Tri Palm Estates/Shenandoah Springs Country Club Rendezvous Café/Restaurant
Sky Valley Mobile Home Park Café/Restaurant
Suncrest Country Club Café/Restaurant
This is just another example of what I often say about living in a mobile home community. You aren’t just buying a home. You’re purchasing a lifestyle. After all, how many other communities come with their own on-site restaurant?
Photos above: I recently had breakfast with a friend at the Sky Valley Mobile Home Community Café and, as you see from the before and after photos, it was delicious. I had a chili and cheese omlette and it was one of the best I’ve had at any restaurant in the desert.
